TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - A convenience store armedrobbery suspect has been arrested following an incident earlier this week.
Tobias James Horton, 21, hasbeen identified as the suspect of an attempted armed robbery at a Circle K inthe 5300 block of N. La Cholla Blvd. just after 4:30 p.m. on June 2.
According to a news release, thesuspect approached the clerk with a gun and demanded money. The clerk compliedand gave a physical description to police. Deputies began an immediate searchand a man matching the physical description was arrested within minutes on theriver walk near the Circle K.
The suspect was detained andlater admitted to the robbery and was arrested.
Upon further investigation, itwas discovered that he was carrying an air soft gun which was used in theattempted robbery.
He was booked into the PimaCounty Adult Detention Center and charged with one count of armed robbery.
