The Pinal County Board of Supervisors has adopted a tentative budget for the 2013-2014 fiscal year.
According to a news release, the $373,723,558 budget reflects priorities that were discussed in public meetings since February.
Top priorities include funding for the second phased of the Hunt Highway completion, the Ironwood/Gantzel Road extension, no increase to the property tax rate, and the continuation of dirt road surfacing and county pavement preservation projects, according to the release.
Most of the expenditures are in the public safety sector at 63 percent.
The tentative budget decided Wednesday cannot be raised when discussions are presented for the final budget at a future meeting. But, supervisors can vote on a lower budget.
