Orioles shortstop J.J. Hardy went four-for-four with an RBI single Thursday in Baltimore's 3-1 win over the Houston Astros.
Hardy after a slow start in which he hit just .202 in April, is heating up with the summer. After batting .273 in the month of May with seven home runs, he is off to an 11-for-19 start to June and has three home runs and five runs batted in.
Hardy's 13 home runs are seventh most in the American League. His teammate, Chris Davis leads all of Major League Baseball with 20 home runs and will likely by an All Star for the American League in New York next month. The question, are Hardy's numbers All Star worthy.
The Sabino High School product ('02) has played in just one All Star game (2007) in his previous eight big league campaigns.
I want to know what you think. Friend my Facebook page and tell me why or why not Hardy should play in the All Star game at Citi Field.
