TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Utilities like water and electricity are increasingly stolen whenever temperatures start to heat up.

"It's definitely a concern," says a spokesperson for Tucson Water. "Especially at some of our hydrants across the city."

Inspectors are constantly monitoring utility theft.  Though reported cases typically escalate whenever there's a string of days in excess of 100 degrees.
