Authorities give 'all clear' after suspicious package investigation

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Northwest Fire Station at Ina and Shannon has issued an all clear after a suspicious package found inside a sedan on the northwest side has been discovered to be a laptop inside a laptop case.

The Pima County bomb squad investigated the suspicious package at a fire station early Tuesday.

According to the Northwest Fire District, a woman found the package in her car and brought it to NWFD Station No. 33 at 2821 West Ina Road, east of North Shannon Road.

The woman parked her car in the fire station's parking lot. The area was cordoned off and people were kept away.

The streets in the area are open.
