Two people were sent to the hospital after a crash Wednesday night in Aurora.
It happened near the intersection of U.S. 50 and SR 148.
Police say a Ford Explorer driven by Kayla Barrett, 16, of Aurora, was eastbound
on U.S. 50 approaching S.R. 148. According to a witness, Barrett ran the red
light and struck a 2007 Jeep Liberty driven by Bonnie
