Peoria police were looking for a man they said robbed a grocery store pharmacy of oxycodone June 12.
The man was wearing a disposable mask and walked to the pharmacy counter in the store in the 12000 block of North 83rd Avenue.
He held his right hand under his shirt and told an employee to give him all the oxycodone behind the counter, according to a police report.
Thinking the man might have a gun under his shirt, the employee complied and the suspect ran out of the store, taking the mask off and leaving in a black Chevrolet pickup truck, possibly with an extended cab, north on 83rd Avenue, according to the report.
Police described the suspect as African-American, in his 20s, 5'10" tall and skinny build. He was wearing a baseball cap, dark T-shirt, dark pants and was soft-spoken, according to witnesses.
Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to contact the Peoria Police Department by phone (623-773-7045), email (PDTips@peoriaaz.gov) or text (type PPD, your message and send to 274-637).
