A new 5,000 acre wildfire is burning about eight miles northwest of Prescott on the Prescott National Forest.
Officials warn the public of smoky conditions from the Doce Fire around Williams, Ariz. and to be cautious when driving to the National Forest when visibility is limited.
Fire lookouts from the Kaibab National Forest say there is visible smoke traveling from the southwest to the northeast.
Air tankers, helicopters, type-1 crews and type-2 initial attack crews have responded to the area.
Officials say it is human-caused.
