TEMPE, AZ (CBS5) -

Cell phone records show the young woman who vanished just blocks away from her Tempe apartment over the weekend made a phone call before she disappeared.

Adrienne Salinas, 19, hasn't been seen or heard from since about 4:30 Saturday morning.

It's believed she was headed to her boyfriend's house. Police said Salinas used her cell phone to call a cab after she had gotten two flat tires near 5th Street and Brown.

Salinas asked for a driver to meet her at the A.M./P.M. gas station at the intersection of Hardy and University. Investigators told CBS 5 she never made it there.

Tuesday afternoon friends took the new information and started posting fliers along the routes she may have taken.

"The past couple of days literally feels like we're walking through a nightmare. This is just crazy. Every day it gets bigger and bigger and still no one knows anything," said Salinas's roommate and best friend Shainey Duggan.

Monday night MCSO deputies searched Tempe Town Lake using sonar technology. Investigators have no reason to believe she's in the lake, but wanted to rule it out.

Salinas' father has worked tirelessly to get the word out about his missing daughter.

"She's just part of me you know and I need her back," said Rick Salinas.

He hopes the pictures on the fliers will jog someone's memory who may have seen her.

"Right now I know she's alive. I know she's alive and I know that she's going to come back. That's what's keeping me moving forward," Rick Salinas said.
