Sun Tran, Sun Shuttle routes scheduled for detour

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Sun Tran and Sun Shuttle routes will be on detour for scheduled track repairs on the Union Pacific Railroad Crossing at Rita Road beginning June 24.

Sun Tran Route 110X will detour on Valencia Road to minimize delays between downtown and the Old Vail Park and Ride.

A van will provide connecting services on a modified schedule for passengers traveling between the Park and Ride and the UA Tech Park.

110X passengers should expect delays of up to ten minutes, according to the news release.

Sun Shuttle Route 450 will temporarily discontinue service on Rita Road, south of Old Vail Road, including stops at the UA Tech Park, Global Solar, Arizona Canning Company and the Target Fulfillment Center.

The service disruptions are expected to last up to two weeks.
