FLORENCE, AZ (Tucson News Now) - An autopsy has been completed in the death of 40-year-old convicted murderer Dale Hausner, but it may be several more weeks before we learn how he died while in a state prison.

The Pinal County Medical Examiner's Office says the cause and manner of death is listed as ‘Pending.'  It may take 60 to 90 days to determine the final cause and manner of Hausner's death.

Hausner was on death row for killing six people and attacking 19 others in a series of random shootings in the Phoenix area.  He was found unresponsive in his prison cell Wednesday.
