Suspect wanted for car theft, abduction

SOUTH FAIRMONT, OH (FOX19) -

Police are searching for a suspect following a car-theft and child abduction in South Fairmount.

Authorities are searching for a man after he stole a pickup truck from the Fairmount Coin Laundry on White Street and Harrison Avenue.  

The vehicle has been described as a white 2010 4-door Tundra with Texas plates

A one-year-old child was in the vehicle at the time. The suspect let the child out of the vehicle less than one mile away.

The suspect has been described as a black male, wearing a white t-shirt and shorts around 5'11".

The suspect was last seen headed southbound on I-71/75. 

Anyone who sees the vehicle is asked to call 911.
