BLANCHESTER, OH (FOX19) -

A Blanchester man is back behind bars after he was released.

In November of 2012, Rick Williams, 55, was sentenced to 18 months in prison for possession of drugs based on a Blanchester Police investigation conducted earlier in the year.

Williams was released from prison after only serving six months. Police and the Prosecutor's Officer were unable to determine why he was let out of jail, so a warrant was issued late last week for his arrest.

At around 10 p.m. Monday night, police received a complaint of a great deal of traffic in and out of a residence on Highland Avenue.  Officers responded to conduct surveillance and happened upon Williams walking down Highland Avenue near his home. He was arrested on the felony warrant and was taken to the Clinton County jail.

Officers then found numerous individuals on the property, some of them unknown to Williams' elderly father.

Numerous hypodermic needles were found in the back yard of the residence, as were other items used for the injection of intravenous drugs.

Williams' brother, Rick Curl, 59, of Sebring, Fla. was also arrested at the scene and charged with two counts of possession of drugs abuse instruments.

Officers also found a meth lab at the rear of the property.
