HAMILTON, OH (FOX19) -

Hamilton Police arrested a man after coming across 'one of the most sophisticated growing operations' ever found in the area.

According to authorities, they first received a tip of a large marijuana operation happening in the 700 block of Park Avenue.

Detectives then executed a search warrant of the residence and arrested Daniel Click Jr.

The reportedly found six different growing areas inside the home, consisting of plants in every stage from seedlings to harvested plants.

Approximately 80 marijuana plants were recovered, weighing nearly 50 pounds. Click told officials the pot was being sold wholesale for $3,500 per pound.

According to detectives, the street value on that amount of high grade marijuana would have been approximately $175,000.

Click was arrested and charged with drug possession, illegal cultivation of marijuana, drug trafficking and drug paraphernalia.
