Cabarrus County hit hard by storm; roads closed, flooded

CABARRUS COUNTY, NC (WBTV) -

Authorities say ten roads in the county are closed due to overnight flooding.

A man tells WBTV he drove over a bridge on Pharr Mill Road around 10:30 Friday night. At the time he says the water levels were about one and a half feet below the base of the bridge. When he drove past the same area a few hours later, he says the bridge was flooded and he rescued a driver whose car was flooded.
