Rest area on westbound side of I-10 to close for month

CASA GRANDE, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

The Sacaton rest area between Casa Grande and Phoenix, on I-10 will be closed, according to a news release from the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT).

Starting next week, on July 8, the westbound I-10 rest area exit ramp, at milepost 183.5 will close to traffic at 6 a.m., and remain closed for approximately one month.

ADOT will be installing a commercial truck scale at the site, as well as widening the westbound exit ramp and placing new pavement markers.  The eastbound side of the Sacaton rest area will remain open.
