Man killed inside car on N. Green Rd.

Cleveland Police confirm that several officers are investigating a fatal shooting that took place in the 2000 block of North Green Road near Cliffview at around 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 5th.

The Cleveland Police Homicide Division responded to the shooting after it was reported that one male was fatally wounded.

The unidentified male victim was found inside of a cream colored SUV. 

It has been reported that the vehicle is being towed with the victim's body inside to help police gather clues as to what happened.

At this time, it appears that the victim died of a gunshot wound to the head but the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office will need to conduct an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.

At this time there are no witnesses to the shooting.
