New Loughner documents unsealed

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

We're digging up new information about Tucson mass shooter, Jared Loughner. It comes from some of the 60 federal court documents unsealed by the judge in the case against the convicted January 8th gunman.

A search warrant is among the documents the judge released. It states Loughner had several letters in his room titled "I planned ahead!" and "My assassination love Jared, Giffords."

Investigators also recovered journals and books about mind control and another book called an anarchist cookbook, recipes for disaster.

Investigators found drawings of weapons, ammunition and more. They got into his Myspace account where he posted anti-government comments and told his friends goodbye.

Investigators also seized electronic equipments and found texts where Loughner was talking about the crimes and pictures in preparation of the shooting.

Loughner's parents described his behavior to investigators. On the morning of the shooting, he drove away and came back with a black bag. He didn't talk to anyone then ran away. That was the last time they heard from Loughner before the shooting.
