TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Police need the public's help as they continue to search for an armed robbery suspect who fled from a convenience store with beer on Tucson's east side in mid-May.

Officials with the Tucson Police Department say an armed man left a Circle K store in the 3100 block of E. Speedway Boulevard with a 30-pack of beer on May 18, just before 6:45 p.m.

He reportedly pointed a handgun at the clerk and then put it away as he was leaving with the beer, according to police.

The suspect was described as a 40 to 50-year-old Hispanic male, 5'8" to 5'11" tall and weighing about 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing jean shorts, a plaid shirt and an orange knit cap.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
