TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Tempe Police have issued an Amber Alert for a 21-month-old boy, who they say was allegedly abducted by his mother Thursday.

Police say 35-year-old Olivia Mosley forcibly removed her son, Javidson Mosley, from a Tempe daycare agency around 3 p.m. after learning Child Protective Services was going to take custody of her child.

Mosley got in a physical altercation with daycare staff before fleeing the scene, according to the alert. She is considered a danger to herself and others, as she has not been taking her prescribed medication for her mental illness, police say.

Mosley and her son were last seen heading in an unknown direction in a four-door maroon 1994 Lexus with the Arizona license plate: BCD4654.

Olivia Mosley is described as a 5'2" African American, weighing around 195 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a pink shirt and grey pants.

Javidson Mosley is described as African American with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue and white striped shirt with orange design jean shorts.

Anyone with information is urged to call 911 or Tempe Police at (800) 646-2475. Do not try to apprehend Mosley.
