TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

UPDATE: Tempe Police report the child has been found safe and the mother is in custody.

Tempe Police issued an Amber Alert for a 21-month-old boy, who they say was allegedly abducted by his mother Thursday.

Police say 35-year-old Olivia Mosley forcibly removed her son, Javidson Mosley, from a Tempe daycare agency around 3 p.m. after learning Child Protective Services was going to take custody of her child.

Mosley got in a physical altercation with daycare staff before fleeing the scene, according to the alert. She is considered a danger to herself and others, as she has not been taking her prescribed medication for her mental illness, police say.

Mosley and her son were last seen heading in an unknown direction in a four-door maroon 1994 Lexus with the Arizona license plate: BCD4654.
