TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Officials with Union Pacific are working with crews to clear eight tipped cars from a train accident area near the intersection of Toole and 16th, which is closed because of the early morning low-speed accident.

22nd Street, which was closed between 4th and Park, has reopened.

According to Tucson Fire officials they received several calls about tipped rail cars near Toole and 16th Street.  Eight empty freight cars tipped over in a low speed accident. According to Tucson Police, there is no cause yet on why the cars left the tracks.

Tucson Fire Department crews are on scene to check for possible injuries, and for any leaking material.  Tucson Electric crews are also on the scene, to help deal with potential power line problems.
