A Pima County man will be sentenced today for burning and killing his girlfriend.
Anthony Lewis was found guilty last month of breaking into the home of Angela Hudson and dousing her with gasoline, then setting her on fire.
Hudson died five months later in a Phoenix burn center.
Lewis was eventually caught by police as he tried to leave the United States and cross the border into Canada.
He was found guilty of first-degree murder, aggravated assault and second-degree burglary.
Lewis could face life in prison.
