PD: Man tries to rob Prescott Valley gas station, flees on bike

PRESCOTT VALLEY, AZ (CBS5) -

Police in Prescott Valley are looking for a man who tried to rob a gas station Friday morning and fled on a bicycle.

The Prescott Valley Police Department said the man demanded money from a cashier at Express Stop Gas Station located at 7880 E. State Route 69. The clerk refused and the suspect took off eastbound on a bike.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian man, approximately 25 years old, with a medium build, a possible slight mustache and a prominent goatee. He was wearing dark sunglasses, a black ball cap, a hooded, dark coat with a turquoise pattern, a blue shirt and Levis.

Police said there were no threats of violence or weapons used.
