Animal shelter trying to ease overcrowding

Pima Animal Care Center has seen a huge increase in animals since the start of this month.

Over 1,000 animals have been turned in to the shelter at 4000 N. Silverbell Road at a rate of 69 a day since July 1.

PACC is trying to find homes for the animals and is offering a $13 fee for adoptions.
