CHANDLER, AZ (CBS5/AP) -
A Chandler man accused of exposing himself in front of adults and children in numerous apartment complexes since January has pleaded not guilty.
Maricopa County prosecutors say 18-year-old Cameron Strempel entered his plea Wednesday.
His next scheduled court date is Sept. 10.
Strempel targeted 10 victims of all ages, from 6 to 60, from January to May, investigators said.
In every case, the victims described him as a young man with a baby face.
A composite sketch was made based on several witnesses descriptions. Detectives then went door to door in the apartment complexes in the area of Warner Road and Arizona Avenue handing out copies of the sketch and asking for information.
Several leads were developed that led detectives to Strempel. They were able to obtain a photograph of the suspect and put together a photo lineup. Strempel was identified by several of the victims.
Police finally tracked him down Tuesday to an apartment complex near Warner Road and Arizona Avenue.
Strempel was booked into jail on two felony charges and six misdemeanor charges.
He's being held on $10,000 bond.
