A double wide mobile home is damaged after a fire broke out after midnight in the 1600 block of East Bantam Road.
According to Tucson Fire, neighbors called 9-1-1 after seeing smoke and flames coming from the mobile home.
Neighbors also advised that they didn't believe anybody to be in the home.
As the first engine company arrived on scene, they confirmed that smoke and flames were coming from a bedroom window on the east side of the mobile home.
The crew pulled hose lines from the engine and entered on the north of the trailer. They performed a quick search to ensure that no one was home, which they confirmed, and extinguished the majority of the flames.
Firefighters pulled down the drywall above them to confirm that the fire did not spread to the attic space. The latter crew on scene assisted with getting the residual smoke out of the home by setting up high powered fans.
The fire was extinguished within ten minutes of arriving on scene.
There were no injuries to firefighters and the Red Cross was not needed. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
