TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Police ask for the public's help in identifying a suspect who is allegedly linked to two armed robberies in the Foothills.

Rincon District deputies say a man entered a Red Mango yogurt shop at Sunrise and Swan on July 21 and demanded money while armed.

The suspect was described as a young, light-skinned male with medium build. He was last seen wearing a black jacket with three distinctive patches, blue jeans and a black hat.

He reportedly fled the scene in a silver four-door sedan with a faded license plate before deputies arrived.

Police responded to another armed robbery five hours later at a 7-Eleven convenience store at Skyline and Swan.

The suspect allegedly demanded money and implied that he was armed. He left the area before police arrived.

This suspect's description was similar to the Red Mango armed robbery suspect. Sheriff's Robbery Assault Unit detectives believe it is the same suspect.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
