Small plane crashes into house in central Indiana

COLUMBUS, Ind. (AP) - A small plane has crashed into a house and ignited a fire in a central Indiana.
Indiana State Police Sgt. Noel Houze says the crash happened Thursday morning in a neighborhood in Columbus, about 40 miles south of Indianapolis.
Houze says it wasn't immediately clear whether anyone was injured or killed.
The accident happened about a mile from the city's airport, and the fire sent a plume of dark smoke over the city.
Firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze, though the home was badly damaged.
Video from television helicopter crews appears to show that other homes escaped damage.
