Tucson teenager receives bone-marrow transplant

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - A Tucson teenager just finished the first procedure of what is hoped to be a life-saving operation.

Lizzie Bell, 19, finished an infusion of new cells through a bone marrow transplant.
She has a rare form of anemia, which keeps her from producing healthy red blood cells.

Doctors found a perfect bone marrow match for her last month. We'll keep you updated on her condition.
