SIERRA VISTA (Tucson News Now) - Police have arrested a man suspected of holding up a smoke shop Wednesday and burglarizing a gun store less than 24 hours later.  He's also under investigation for another holdup just before the other two crimes.

Brian Powers, 17, faces charges of armed robbery, burglary, possession of stolen property and criminal damage.

Investigators suspect Powers walked into the Glass Bottom Smoke Emporium on West Fry Boulevard Wednesday night, wearing a black hoodie, dark baseball cap and a camouflage bandanna.  Police say the suspect pointed a gun and made the clerk put $269 in cash in a bag before leaving.

Then, around 6:30am Thursday, police responded to a burglary call at Saguaro Firearms on Fry Boulevard.  Surveillance tape revealed it was the same suspect from the smoke shop robbery.

Police located Powers after an employee of the gun store spotted him coming out of a nearby Circle K at South Carmichael and Fry Boulevard.

Cochise County Sheriff's Deputies are also looking into charges against Powers for a holdup at the Dollar General Store on Highway 92 just after 9pm Wednesday.  Investigators say the suspect was wearing the same clothing as in the other incidents.
