Gadabout SalonSpas will be raising money for the families of the Yarnell Hill Fire victims this week.
When customer Roxy Warneke lost her husband, a Granite Mountain Hotshot, the salon decided to create a fundraiser set for August 1 through August 3.
Each staff member will donate money toward the 501(c)3 account created by the Firefighter Relief Fund. There will also be donation boxes at the front counters for voluntary customer donations.
"For over 30 years Gadabout's primary objective is to give back to our community that has supported us. When tragedy takes place in our community, it is our responsibility to support the families and ultimately the women and children impacted," Jana Westerbeke, president of Gadabout SalonSpas said.
Gadabout and VerVe staff will be wearing themed outfits do display community togetherness, according to a Gadabout news release.
