Dallas high school phasing out Wildcat logo after legal threat

DALLAS, TX (Tucson News Now) - Woodrow Wilson High School has been using a Wildcat logo that looks a lot like the University of Arizona's.  And that's too similar for a firm that licenses trademarks.

According an article in the Dallas Observer, the school was threatened with legal action from Collegiate Licensing Company several months ago.  The paper reports the school will phase out the logo on "everything except for the tile mosaic [in a hallway], which the university will graciously allow to remain indefinitely."
