Wanted fugitive arrested in Mexico

Tucson, Arizona (TucsonNewsNow) A wanted fugitive is arrested in Mexico.

Mexican authorities arrested 28 year old Reyes JovanyMiranda, a U.S. citizen who was wanted for the 2011 death of 25 year old RamonJesus Steele.

According to the Pima County Sheriff’s, Steel was one of twopassengers in a vehicle driven by Miranda that collided with a tree near Drexeland Mission. 

Deputies say Miranda left the scene, leaving two passengersin the vehicle.  Steel died from theinjuries of the accident, the other passenger survived.

The Sheriff’s Department Fugitive Investigative Strike Teamin conjunction with the U.S. Marshals received Miranda from Mexican authoritiesFriday night.

Miranda is booked in the Pima County Jail.

He’s charged with leaving the scene of an accident involvingdeath, manslaughter and aggravated assault.
