One man was shot in the leg Sunday after what South Tucson Police say appears to be a drive-by shooting. According to police, the adult male suffered non life-threatening injuries.
The shooting happened Sunday afternoon in the 1800 block of South 8th Avenue near 29th Street in South Tucson.
The shooter and the shooting victim appear to know each other, according to South Tucson Police. Detectives believe the shooting was targeted. Detectives are interviewing several witnesses. Seven or eight shell casings were found on the ground near the scene of the crime, according to police.
