SOUTH TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

South Tucson Police detectives are investigating a shooting with multiple victims that happened Sunday night.

Police say all three victims, a 53-year-old man, his 30-year-old son and a 25-year-old man, were in the front yard of a home in the 100 block of West 32nd Street, near 32nd Street and 8th Avenue when they began arguing.

According to police the 25-year-old allegedly brandished a small caliber handgun and threatened to shoot. At this point, police say the 53-year-old allegedly shot the 25-year-old, who also began shooting.

All three men were taken to the hospital for treatment. The 25-year-old was listed in critical condition and the other two suffered non-life threatening injuries, police say.

Six shots were heard, according to a neighbor, who also stated this type of incident was common in the neighborhood.  Several other neighbors stated they had heard what sounded like gunshots before the last six were heard.
