Albuquerque, N.M. – Local MMA fighters Nick Rhoads and Jason Brenton will compete in the Jackson's MMA Series in Albuquerque, NM this Sunday.

The competition will feature some of the top MMA fighters from throughout the southwest.

Rhoads (5-2), a bantamweight and Sahuaro High School grad ('09) will go head-to-head against Albuquerque fighter Conrad Padilla in the competition's main event.

"We are very excited to welcome back Jackson's MMA Series to The Downs Racetrack & Casino," said Scott Eldredge, chief operating officer at The Downs Racetrack & Casino.  "Jackson's MMA Series is New Mexico's premier fighting organization which trains some of the nation's top fighters, and provides the best fighting events and entertainment to the state. 

Brenton will face off against Daniel Salas (Albuquerque, NM) in one of the evenings' five undercards.

Jackson's MMA Series veterans include TUF 14 Featherweight Championship Diego Brandao and TUF Veteran Johnny Bedford.  In addition, multiple Jacksons MMA Series fighters have been signed to professional contracts with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).
