TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Nine student activists just released from a U.S. Federal detention center are back at the Nogales border holding a news conference.
The so-called "Dream 9" were arrested last month after trying to cross into the country from Mexico as a protest of American immigration policy.
The Federal government approved their asylum requests.
A judge will now determine whether they can stay here.
