TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

The Humane Society of Southern Arizona (HSSA) is teaming up with the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum for Cool Summer Nights Saturday, August 10.

HSSA will be part of the family friendly activities happening Saturday night, hosting a workshop ‘Desert Safety for Our Companion Critters and Wild Friends' for pet owners at 6 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Unfortunately the four-legged companions have to stay home, but the rest of the family is invited out to attend the workshop and to take part in all the other fun activities available – like a scavenger hunt, crafts, music and much more.

Ticket prices for Cool Summer Nights are $12 General Admission; $4 Kids 4-12; FREE Kids 3 and under.

The HSSA is also offering a special for the month of August - $0 adoption fee for select dogs, cats five months and older are $25 and kittens are two for $125.
