TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Authorities on the northwest side are hunting for suspects involved in a home invasion that left a man injured.

Investigators are still collecting clues at the intersection of Bay Leaf and Coriander to track down at least two suspect who forced their way into a house and hurt the homeowner.

Witnesses say they saw two men standing at the door, talking to the resident.

They then heard three gunshots and the men pushed their way inside.

Officials say the 34-year-old victim is hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries to his leg.

Neighbors say they've never seen anything like this here.

"We did notice the activity and we were a little worried," said neighbor Kim Morgan. "Again we've never had problems in this neighborhood so it's quite unusual for something like that to happen."

"We don't even get people breaking into your cars or anything," said neighbor Christopher Wick. "Much everyone leaves each other alone out here. I don't know what happened over there that prompted a home invasion."

There is no description of the suspects at this time.

This is still an ongoing investigation and if anyone has any information, you're asked to call 911 or 88 crime.
