TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A Tucson man is recovering in the hospital Saturday night after he says he was shot at. Sheriff's deputies are searching for the suspected shooters.

The walls, couch and refrigerator are scarred with bullet holes. It's the scene of an early morning burglary gone bad.

The victim's brother invited Tucson News Now inside. He says his brother and brother's girlfriend got home and noticed a suspicious car parked out front.

When his brother went inside he says two guys were trying to steal his TV. Soon after, gunfire erupted.

"They were pretty big booms. Big booms. Enough to rattle my windows," said Mike Aguayo, a neighbor.

The victim somehow crawled out of the house. He was shot three times in the lower body. He hopped in the car, driving off with his girlfriend and called 9-1-1.

"I got up right here when I saw the window was open there," said Aguayo. "As far as being shattered and didn't see anybody around. So I ran up kind of looked inside."

The suspects got away and deputies don't have a description on either of them. Aguayo says a police helicopter searched the area a half an hour after the incident.

"It's pretty weird," said Aguayo. "It's really quiet around here. It was kind of a shock."

The victim is expected to make a full recovery.
