TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

The remains found earlier this month in a Phoenix wash were those of a missing college student.

The remains belong to 19-year-old Adrienne Salinas. She was a student at a Maricopa community college and went missing on her way to her boyfriend's house back in June.

Police spent the last few days digging for more evidence near where they found the remains. Police haven't announced if they have any suspects.

Salinas's body was taken to the Pima County Medical Examiner's Office in Tucson.
