PCSD seeking four witnesses to deputy shooting

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

The Pima County Sheriff's Department is asking for the public's help finding four people, who may have witnessed a shootout between a PCSD deputy and a suspect.

PCSD deputies would like to speak with four potential witnesses, who have not been interviewed yet.  The shooting in question took place at the Circle K at Romero and Wetmore on Saturday, August 3.

According to authorities Deputy Jesus Davila responded to a suspicious man at the store.  The man, identified as 41-year-old Alvin McBride had a gun, and shot Davila in the leg.  According to PCSD officials Davila was able to get to his own weapon and shoot and kill McBride.

"It's always important to interview everybody that was involved," stated Jesus Banuelos, the PCSD Public Information Officer.  "Someone might have seen something to make sure we have a complete picture."

PCSD are asking if anyone was at the Circle K during the incident, or if they know someone who was, to have them call 911 or 88-CRIME.
