TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Sierra Vista officials report a road closure beginning Monday on Coronado Drive between the State Route 90 bypass and Carmelita Drive for a construction project that is expected to last for a few weeks.

Carmelita Drive at Coronado will be closed starting Monday, August 12, and reopened Tuesday.

Two-way-traffic will be maintained at all times on Coronado Drive, according to a news release.

Madera and Sonoita intersections will be under construction and restricted to right turns only, from Tuesday to Friday.  

Drivers are asked to be cautious around the project site and seek alternative routes.
