TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Tucson Police responded to a southside home, near Mission Manor Park, when a 16-year old female reported a male was in her home, armed with a knife.

According to Tucson Police PIO, Chris Widmir, the 16-year old arrived at home and was confronted by the male.

He then made an attempt to sexual assault her, but she resisted. The male then fled from the home and got into what looked like a dark gray convertible.

The male is described to be an African American or Hispanic in his 20's to 30's with short black hair.

If anyone has any information about this incident, please call 88-crime.
