UPDATE: Pre-teen rape suspect arrested in KY

CLERMONT COUNTY, OH (FOX19) -

A suspect in a pre-teen rape in Clermont County is arrested in Kentucky over the weekend.

On Friday, a warrant was issued for Timothy McRoberts, 41. Clermont County said McRoberts, who lives in Cincinnati, was wanted for allegedly raping a pre-teen girl nearly a decade ago.

Investigators believe the incident took place in 2003-2004. Deputies say McRoberts had correspondence with law enforcement on Thursday with indication that he could cause self harm.

Officials asked the public to be on the lookout for McRoberts.

McRoberts was arrested in Lewis County, Kentucky over the weekend. He's is awaiting extradition to Clermont County.
