TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Teaching artist Paul Fisher will lead a workshop for emerging and established teaching artists at the Tucson Arts Brigade this weekend.

Fisher was formally director of the nationally recognized Arts Education Program for the Tucson Pima Arts Council.

Anyone interested in teaching the arts can attend Fisher's workshop on September 24 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the YWCA building for a $25 fee.

Fisher is a private consultant specializing in the use of creativity and theatre as tools of assessment, learning, communication and critical thinking. He has conducted staff development and worked in the classroom with The University of Arizona, Tucson Unified, Marana and Sunnyside School Districts, in addition to charter and private schools.
