TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Police are searching for a south side armed robbery suspect and two accomplices who are wanted for questioning.

Pima County Sheriff's Department officials say a woman was unloading groceries outside a Walmart Neighborhood Market on August 12 when an unidentified man approached her from behind and grabbed her purse.

The suspect reportedly tossed the victim's purse into a blue Dodge Avenger that was occupied by two other males. He fled on foot and the vehicle was gone by the time San Xavier District deputies responded to the scene in the 2800 block of W. Valencia.

Upon further investigation, detectives discovered convenience store footage that revealed the suspect using the victim's credit card, according to a news release.

The suspect is described as an African American male in his early twenties. There was no description of the weapon or how it was used in the reported robbery.

Anyone with information on the suspect and the two alleged accomplices is asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
