Fugitive wanted for allegedly shooting man involved with girlfriend

CLEVELAND (Toledo News Now) -

The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a reward for information which would lead to the capture of fugitive Christopher Jackson.

Jackson is wanted by the U.S. Marshals and Cuyahoga County Sheriff's Office for aggravated assault with a firearm. It is alleged that at the end of May, Jackson hunted down a man he thought was messing around with his girlfriend. When he located the victim near the Morris Black housing projects in Cleveland, he jumped out of a vehicle and shot him several times before fleeing.

Jackson is described as a 31-year-old black male standing approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing 178 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. 

Authorities believe he is hiding somewhere in Cleveland. He has a previous address near the 8000 block of Amos Avenue in Cleveland.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Christopher Jackson is encouraged to contact the NOVFTF at 1-866-4WANTED or text keyword "WANTED" with the tip to TIP411. Tipsters may remain anonymous. A cash reward may be available.
