TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Tucson Police have identified the victim of a pedestrian accident on W. 22nd Street and South Osbourne on Sunday night.

Police say 63-year-old Georgia Rodriguez was not in a crosswalk while crossing W. 22nd Street.

She was struck by a 2011 Chevrolet Impala that was headed eastbound and she was transported to a local trauma center where she succumbed to her injuries later that night.

After the incident, the driver remained at the scene and was not cited.
